I would highly recommend adding P. Djèlí Clark to the list as well. I paused my reading of "A Master of Djinn" because work took over my schedule, but I'm eager to get back to it.

A book of shorts that might lead you to more new authors is “New Suns - Original Speculative Fiction by People of Color”.
