It punches down. I'm not sure at what point cyclists came to be seen as a legitimate target for punching up, but I've even heard jokes about violence being done to cyclists on a Radio 4 comedy panel show, and they're normally pretty good at picking valid targets. Defending jokes about killing cyclists sits adjacent to defending jokes about sexually assaulting women. I don't see how anyone can defend the other tally targeting wheelchair users -- it's not even in the same postcode as humour. 4/

    The kind of person who has a sticker like this is probably the kind of person who deliberately runs the windscreen washer passing a cyclist, passes a bit too close, or sits revving their engine just off your back wheel at traffic lights. If called on it, they’ll grumpily say, “Just a laugh, don’t get your knickers in a twist, bet you’re fun at parties.” If their friend group laughs along with them, they’ll escalate. It's not a lack of humour to recognise where escalation leads. 5/
