Cornell University is deeply connected and profits directly from funding via weapons manufacturers and oil companies. When the war on Gaza began, the chair of the board also sat on the board of a weapons company, whose share price has more than doubled since 7th October 2023. Students who protest on campus against these companies, or calling for an end of the genocide, are routinely suspended without investigation. Recently, President Michael Kotlikoff drove his car directly at students.
