Yesterday I saw La Grazia by Sorrentino at the cinema. It’s a movie about an Italian President of the Republic who has to sign a law on euthanasia. Apart from the absurdity of an Italian parliament proposing such a law, there’s a very strange, random scene where he meets the President of Portugal. As soon as the Portuguese President arrives, a violent storm starts and he trips over the red carpet, all while trippy techno music plays in the background. Apart from that, and a random Italian rapper cameo, it’s a great movie
