No, you may not merge the vibecoded diff where, when running the test, half the functionality is swapped out for a dummy class. Also you should have at least two tests. This is a super junior dev (first coding job) so I don't blame them but, as for the other staff level engineers who looked at this and didn't call out the problems, I have harsh... thoughts, at least. Satisfying as harsh words can be in the moment they're not actually going to make my job better or easier in the long run.
