I've been inspired by Switch-Angel from YouTube, and am messing about with Strudel* this evening. REPL for live coding music. It's totally alien, like someone got high and thought "what if music production was a DSL with an obscure regular expression-like syntax?"

Not gonna lie, this is exactly the itch I needed to scratch. I mean, there are other itches, but that's for another social network.

It's actually pretty cool, and if you read her code (which, hat tip, is super clean) it makes perfect sense. Define each instrument bank as a const, then organise everything into a bank that the runtime loops through. Elegant. The fun thing for me is going to be working out how to do automation (programmable sliders, knob tweaks, etc.)
