I've utterly and irrevocably destroyed the mask I used to put on whenever I went out into the world. Speaking at the national convention about the need for a solid ethical framework in the organization for those who are volunerable to harassment or unfair treatment, both targeted and unintentional. Like those who want to fight for changes and a better organization but has to step on the toes of privilege. Like those who want to volunteer but one unintentional response can drive them back into another 10 years of self-imposed social isolation. Like me and others who are in their gender transition process or in other ways are easy targets for heteronormative harassment. Like those who, due to various disabilites, can't perform on the same level as others but still give everything they got to help create a better future. I wouldn't say "now the whole country knows" I'm trans. But now people all across the country knows. ​:neofox_uwu:​
