God I despise #linkdin so much. It's like the worst of social media but it's also work.
Anyone want to hire an environmental consultant/ground investigation site engineer in central soctland?

@piglet@mastodon.scot I agree. I joined it in the early '00 and never liked it. I quit it this year after lots of deliberation and eventually concluded it is just a crap tool for everything: finding a job, advertising a job, researching and blogging. #quitlinkedin

@piglet@mastodon.scot I am obliged to be active on it. Part of the job description. Apart from the occasional good piece, it is so damn depressing. A reminder of how full of nonsense a lot of people in my industry is.
