@Quasit@kolektiva.social @minmi@sfba.social First off, you don't seem to understand Governmental budgets. States with their own central bank & currency can fund what they like. Not being able to afford something is a lie based on most people's understanding that Government budgets work like everyone else's. They don't. Second, as the Irish UBI to artists demonstrates, you make the money back. It is cost effective. The savings & tax generated more than covers the cost. You can also tax back the rich their UBI.
