hey! a few important reminders! • fedi is not for bragging about crimes, posting about crimes youre going to do, planning crimes with others, or recruiting people to do crimes with. • please dont get our instance subpoenaed. i have no idea how to even handle that since the data is in the EU hosted by fedimonster but all of the staff are in the US, idk who actually owns the data, and idk what we can be legally coerced to provide if it ever happens. please dont make us need a lawyer to figure this out! • anyone who reaches out to you on fedi to do crimes is a cop. just dont. if you really want to do things, go somewhere else to talk about it. not here. • im a trans anarchist, and so are the other staff. we love political action and want you to happily talk about such stories from the news or other similar sources, but again, please do not get us in trouble with the gestapo for the things you said or did. take care not to make posts that could be taken as actionable threats or other legally troublesome things. • this is a space for us queers and anarchists to have fun and socialize. we are not a cell of black bloc. we can cheer them on but do not organize on fedi. thank you! :antifa: #anarchism #anarchy

@rachaelspooky@cyberpunk.lol also even if your crime was way in the past, you got away with it and statute of limitations has run out in your country, bragging about it makes it difficult for the next generation.. Folk on Facebook and elsewhere fucked up the rave scene in the UK over 20 years, they provided a nice dataset for the feds and prohibitionists to use (including folk admitting to genuinely shitty behaviour like dangerous driving under the influence, on top of petty theft and anti-social behaviour) and it was used to justify further laws and clampdowns against the subculture..
