Chat control was about basically a backdoor into our E2EE chats and messages via client side scanning and message forwarding, the age verification solution, according to the EC, is a privacy preserving way for websites and apps to check if the user is above / below 18, without the app knowing who we are and without the government knowing what app we use. What am I missing?
