The permanent disable is stop using Chrome. This isn't meant to be snide or a joke, that's the actual answer. Google's intent is to embed Gemini into Chrome, to offload their compute onto your device.

@RogDolos@mastodon.gamedev.place Got it. I kinda wish I could drop Chrome, but we use Chrome primarily to test our web app and website. I do have Firefox. :/
