@vwestlife@mastodon.social Most manufacturers seem to have gotten the idea lodged in their head that to produce a new product means to make all those sorts of pointless changes, as if they're asking themselves, "What would be the differentiating factor, otherwise?" I wish I could tell them, "People don't usually buy things for the new bells and whistles; frequently, we buy new purely because we want something newly assembled."
