In other news, yesterday it took me $58.38 to fill up the ~15 gal. (~60 l) gas tank of my 2009 car. That&#39;s $20 more than it was a few months ago...say, Januaryish. Hmm. I fucking wonder why. Spouse drives a small pickup. Last night we decided he&#39;s going to get back to cycling to &amp; from work. Long-term, this situation is untenable. We&#39;ve got massive medical bills. Yesterday, our president said he doesn&#39;t care about Americans&#39; financial woes. #TrumpsWar #TrumpEpsteinWar #TrumpsGasCrisis #Iran

@courtcan@mastodon.social I've been putting in 25 at a time and it only gets me a quarter tank.or so. It's fucking ridiculous. I hope MAGA choke on their gas or diesel bills for those Missing Dick trucks they love

@courtcan@mastodon.social Diesel is $C2.22/L here which is about $US6.13/gal. I generally put in ~70L at a time, so $C155 ish. My truck is electric and has been doing yeoman's service while the Touareg is just parked.

@courtcan@mastodon.social It’s honestly insane how quickly fuel prices jumped in just a few months. Having to switch back to cycling because gas and medical bills are becoming unbearable says a lot about how bad things are getting. Inflation is hitting hard here in as well. I think the world is going through a really tough economic period right now.
