got the lid off but the fuses were all fine. break fluid looks fine. break pump noises sound... normal for a prius. drives normally including emergency stopping. so i will drive it home and then drop it off at a mechanic tomorrow.

don't have a copy of toyota techstream to read the brake system codes, and i also dont have an odbii -> usb cable anyway. so idk what the codes actually are.
