@luksfarris@ruby.social I also restarted guitar a few months ago. I remembered that it's *fun*, even if I'm not especially good at it, and therefore worthwhile by itself. What I've started calling "The Music Project" has put out tendrils in all directions; there's so much good stuff to explore!

@flashesofpanic@ruby.social that's very similar to my personal experience!! I found that practicing guitar is satisfying (it literally brings me joy), challenging (plus I can measure progress), and I have zero regret for the time spent practicing!
