@theautisticcoach@neurodifferent.me after a time where I was constantly overwhelmed, I recently rediscovered that singing (usually at church) is a fantastic grounding experience and I can tolerate a ton of sensory input while doing it. Humming (low but intense) during the quieter parts helps bridge the gap if I am still having trouble. If I forget (or the prayer time is too long) I sometimes lose my words for the final song or two of my worship service.
