Last week I built up a new dspod board based on the STM32U3C5. These parts don't run fast - about 1/5th the speed of the STM32H7R3 used in an earlier dspod so one wouldn't expect much. There's a trick here though - the U3C5 has a new feature called the HSP that's designed to offload heavy math operations. I've been trying some FFT-based spectral stuff on it and the early results are encouraging. It'll be interesting to see how hard I can push it.
