@Oregon_Pacifist@retro-gaiden.com while i was never big into the cod games i do remember playing black ops 1 at a friends house on his xbox 360 in the early 2010s and while we didnt play much of the single player mode we played the hell out the zombie mode nonstop and the only mision i remember playing was the prison escape mission and that blew my mind and showed me how mature games were getting at the time. it felt like i was playing an action movie! https://youtu.be/GeEEN0tuSn0

@Oregon_Pacifist@retro-gaiden.com it was both the classic doom and cod black ops 1 that introduced me to FPS games. doom showed me how were around back in the 90s and CODBO1 showed me how advanced and mature gaming was getting to where it felt like you were playing a scene out of an action movie. my parents never liked those games but man what a time to be alive back then when it was new, surreal and amazing by all the new stuff gaming was and could pull off back then
