I've been hearing some talk of our current dystopian cyberpunk nightmare timeline, and blame the "nerds" who built the machines. Though I get the sentiment, let's get some things perfectly straight— 1) Real nerds are nice to others. 2) Real nerds share. 3) Real nerds are who gave us the early Internet. The dot-com boom brought in Venture Capitalists who stole our work, hired "tech bros" and figured out how to use it all for their own selfish gain. #internet #latestagecapitalism
