This is a project that, like wiki, depends on volunteers to edit things. Do these volunteers have any control over the project? No they do not. It's up to an org to take it over so that the org can have it evolve according to their vision or so that org can be most of top of what's happening.
If not? The heroic individual work over the decades leaves a heroic debt when burnout inevitably happens.

This is what I meant when I wrote that the politics of the people setting up a project, implicit or explicit, eventually express themselves in the lifespan of the project. Start a heroic project and who owns and controls it? You do, because you did the vast majority of the work. Some people think that anarchism is against organization or communal work, and it is not. It's against hierarchy and nonconsensual power. Such as the power that even a well meaning person has via heroic work.
