Repoasting this as I was vaguepoasting. The problem is all DEXOS oils are produced from Base III oils and the only major production facility for those was blown to pieces in Qatar. Chevron sent out a bulletin to Walmart/Costco stating they don't have packaged product and Toyota put out a TSB about temporarily using different weight oil in their cars that use w8 & w16. We're not gonna run out of oil for good. Just prices gonna launch & supply will be thin for a bit.
