@HeatherMJ@mastodon.social @WCOW@beige.party My understanding was that Brian doesn't mind paying for George's new drone, because drones are a boring irrelevance to him; he objects to George buying sheep, because he doesn't want George to be a farmer, a role which should be reserved for people like Brian. (And I suppose he can tolerate the idea of Adam being a farmer if he follows rigidly in Brian's footsteps, but whenever Adam has an idea of his own that proves he doesn't belong with people like Brian.)
