You know, when I was young and stupid I enjoyed the movie Brewster's Millions. Now that I'm old and stupid, I realize that the movie was a pretty disturbing piece of fantasy apologia for accumulative excess, complete with a pithy, middle-class moral that justifies extreme wealth. Now I want to remake the movie the way it should have been made in the first place: as a horror film, because done properly Brewster's Millions could be an exceptional piece of psychological horror. 🧵 ▶️
