@kde@floss.social I don't understand the "based on SecretService" in combination with KeepassXC. Currently KeepassXC tells me, that it cannot start the secret service because there is already kwallet running. How would this new tool interoperate with KeepassXC?

@tuxflo@chaos.social @kde@floss.social i guess KeepassXC had to start it as majority of linux system still use the "older" mechanism, so maybe KeepassXC will make an update to check if it's already running ?

@tuxflo@chaos.social @kde@floss.social If i had to guess it might just be a frontend to multiple services? As in this seems like a thing for the user to use as opposed to apps on the system.
