ST died with Roddenberry as far as I am concerned.
Not a single series after his death has any of his spark.
People who say ST was never political are the same kind of people who say Jane Austen was a romance novelist. Those who advocate for justice most brilliantly are the ones who can do it over the heads of the clueless.

@chu@climatejustice.social @fuckfetish@fuckaas.space DS9 proved Star Trek didn't need Roddenberry. However, it also proved you needed visionary and competent show runners and writers.
