@TimothyRoes@mastodon.social @europeanspodcast@mastodon.social My random-with-zero-impostor-syndrome arse signed up for the Conférence sur l'avenir de l'Europe and ended up annoyed at THIS being the outcome, I was a dummy. It's been four years, hahaha, I did forget about them in the meantime, but good for them for going through with it.
ETA: the Conférence panels worked pretty much the same way, there has to be some footage somewhere where you can watch? (I only participated in smaller online and local meetings in my city.)

@TimothyRoes@mastodon.social @europeanspodcast@mastodon.social I remember the lady with the baby, she was pregnant when the Conférence started and Macron and vdL were cooing at the bébé after the big closing ceremony: https://youtu.be/yetX5EiPwgc I also remember the other member states predictably responding to both France and the citizens panels EU reform recommendations with essentially: 🖕 Note the date, months into the second Russia invasion and some of the signatories, like Kallas, who now calls for end of unanimity...
