@EndicottAuthor@mastodon.social @europeanspodcast@mastodon.social The 'general population' has no choice but to accept higher prices as 'the new normal' and are propagandized into believing that they must vote the same profiteers back in every time; One reason why left-leaning politicians were all but wiped out in most of 'The West' in the seventies! The middle-east 'fuel crises' spanned early 'seventies politics and let the profiteers and privateers stabilize economies by raiding (cutting) social support budgets.
