@daycoder@toot.wales Lancashire was still (albeit barely) affordable for a detached house. We were also considering Cumbria but it’s too remote. Outskirts of Preston now. 1 hour to Manchester Airport and a very well connected station. Got to the stage of, “this will do”.

@asphodelia@mastodon.me.uk we’d considered a place in West Wales, but it was just too far to get to London for the 2 days a week I have to performatively swipe my badge in person.
