@kirtai@tech.lgbt That's new and separate. That's Youtube being stupid and yt-dlp devs deciding first-class support should depend on a JS runtime (I refused to provide one). But they also support other sites, some of which also have paid features that are bypassable. But they refuse such contributions. They do however support plugin extractors, which one can make to support those sites better, and a user can specify which extractor to use at runtime or in configuration. So mostly I'm hoping someone is aware of one such plugin for gallery-dl. (It's not even like it's paid-only, it's purely walled-garden freemium proprietary malware bullshit.)

    @lispi314@udongein.xyz In that case I don't know of any. Sorry. Though I do understand the plugin thing. It shields the yt-dlp devs from legal liability. It's like how Kodi allows third party plugins but won't provide plugins for pay sites. They don't want their heads to be in the firing line.
