The proposed California law requiring age verification on all OSs is just silly. How do you enforce a border on a kernel? Unless they mandate locked bootloaders at the OEM level, which is a direct attack on #RightToRepair , they can't stop anyone from installing a #Linux distro. It is a move that only hurts law abiding users while being trivial for anyone with a thumb drive to bypass.
