It took me almost 50 years, but I finally understand. When we are told to find a partner that "makes you happy", it doesn't mean find someone who tells you you're beautiful all the time, or who can buy you nice clothes or cars or a house. It doesn't mean someone who is gorgeous or intelligent or educated or popular. Finding someone who makes you happy comes down to 2 things... they make you laugh and they support your dreams. They want to joyfully share the journey. #partners #happy
