@Rob_l@mas.to The soundtrack is wonderful as well. I’m about the same age, but being here in the US, my experience of the time was limited to watching movies like In the Name of the Father and The Crying Game (one of my all-time favorite movies).

@dawne314@mas.to Yes, very good music. We grew up with the protestant narrative, the bombings, the check points etc, so it was great watching it as an adult with some distance. I don't know if you know but the writer Lisa McGee has also done a series for Netflix called "How to get to heaven from Belfast". Not seen it yet, we're waiting to blitz it when we've got a bit of time.
