@royal@theres.life New Orleans: a lot of the cliche tourist stuff is actually fun. Jackson Square, the French Quarter (but not Bourbon Street). Streetcars, oaks at City Park, the muffaletta at Central Grocery is genuinely good, you can skip Cafe Du Monde.Ferry to Algiers is fun but there is nothing over there. Baton Rouge: I lived there for three years but can't recommend much. Old state capitol maybe? (better than the current one). Or get out and do a swamp tour, but that's the whole day.
