I finally found some energy to dive back into my Home Assistant installation. It's a bit of a mess and some automations stopped working due to low batteries and some technical issues. Driving my family crazy. The current UI of HA looks like it's going in a good direction. I used to lose my motivation the minute I looked at my mess of a dashboard, but it's a lot cleaner by default now. So, finally got that Toilet light switch motion detection back online again... 🙃

I also moved Tado to the Homekit integration inside Home Assistant. So now it's all running locally. Tado recently dialed down the API call limit to 100 per day or so, forcing customers towards their paid subscription plan, which is just the ultimate enshittifcation move... #HomeAssistant #Tado
