@Noisecolor@toot.community same! i don't know shit about fuck, but i learned how containers worked (in principle,) and i learned how VMs worked, and then started using ai to write me yaml and help with with command line stuff. i also use/ask it for documentation of what's been done and what is outstanding as next steps, it kind of acts like a receipt that i then archive. i end up with a current snapshot and a history of all the shit i did . i then use that output, to start next sessions with whatever ai

Re: Cloudflare Cloudflare help with protection from outside script kiddies, at the cost of becoming an internal threat who monitors everything coming in or going out of your server, with the ability to take it down whenever they want. Choose your threat model carefully, especially in these politically unstable times where companies get leaned on to comply with ideological agendas. Oh, and of you think you're too small to get hit by ideological agendas... that's why they're focusing on AI regulation right now - to scale ideological agendas. #Selfhosting #Cloudflare #Privacy #Security
