@pmonks@sfba.social It started long before Ronnie & his F-ing Jelly Beans. GOP was pissed because of what FDR did with things like SSA. 1stJoe McCarthy was trying to end free speech. Nixon started it off by joining the R to fundies, Reagan picked it up & added Business & K street. 4 of the last 5 GOP presidents had to cheat to get in the WH. Throughout they were ending those protections we had. Capitalism can infact work, if it's wrapped in Duct Tape & gagged. Questions, comments, insults? Vote! Peace
