@dvk@toot.re You can add it to the FAQ section in the plugin's description or (for in depth instructions) link to an article on your website. Also try to sum up the occasions when this might happen. Like updating from very old versions, missing some essential steps, a corrupt database, certain webhosts, etc. Users can try to fix it or hire their own dev or hire you for a reasonable price. That might give some compensation for your work. 😃
