@the5thColumnist@mstdn.ca @CosmickTrigger@social.edist.ro I won't say it didn't happen, because I haven't the full context, but I will say that it seems unlikely, given Hef (and his magazine) spent many of their column inches encouraging young men to reject the strict gender roles their parents (who were Boomers, some of them former hippies) had by the 80s largely embraced.
