@arcturax@chitter.xyz Instead of conserving this precious and non-renewable resource, we've been throwing it away in balloons for the entertainment of children. Even most fabs just vent their used helium to atmosphere because it's cheaper to buy a new delivery than to collect, compress and transport it back for re-purification. Helium is cheap enough that it is just wasted, and will remain so until supplies start to run out for good.
