#Signal for Android v8.7 release notes: * We have a new plaintext export feature that lets you export all of your Signal data to disk in a mostly-human-readable format. It’s basically a plaintext json-ified version of our new local backup format. Hopefully it’s helpful for those who need it! Settings > Chats > Export chat history.
