Printers, they really are a relic of the past, but still needed. What's worse is that the ethernet port now disappeared and one needs to deal with the vendor's idiocy of mishandling wifi. The things (in general) only support 2.4GHz and #Epson specifically seems to be sensitive to what the channel number is. New routers can also operate on triple bandwidths with the same SSID, so the solution was to create an IOT guest network with only 2.4GHz with a different name. Now it connects and visible.
