I've played around with NetBSD over the years. Never tried to use it as a daily driver though. In light of the fact they're just about the only viable OS that's taken a string stance against AI contribution, that might be about to change. There are issues of course. Some software is massively outdated in Pkgsrc (the NetBSD packaging system) or just plain non-existent. But 10.0 feels quite a bit snappier than earlier versions. I could get to like it I think.
