@stephenwhq@mastodon.social I am so glad to see this!! I wish 'big' accounts would because they are more assured of having their subscribers follow them & it would lessen the optics that Substack is 'normal' - or worse, the *only* option! I unsubscribed from every SS newsletter more than a year ago, and tend not to read even old favourites as a one-off when authors post links because of the ick factor. And I shake my head at anyone just starting a newsletter and going with SS - if they are starting something new, then they have no reason at all not to make other choices.
