    @twynn@mas.to @matt@toot.cafe @Vordus@chitter.xyz This post also contains the passage: “it was further codified as a hashtag when Twitter decided to natively implement a feature that was formed from emergent user behavior—a surprisingly uncharacteristic move for the platform”, when in fact “inventing” features based on user behaviour was very characteristic for that platform. I can’t think of any good Twitter feature that wasn’t implemented by users first, and natively second.
