@kianga@fedi.tail.ooo hmm, good point I actually don’t know how the software stores them, but I guess it must somehow. It also has “fuzzy match” capability, so it knows to treat “apple” and “4pp1e” as the same string.
I sure hope whatever local database it uses is encrypted :neofox_sweat:

@SuperSluether@tech.lgbt The only safe way I can think of is checking the next time the user enters their password, but if it checked that overnight... I'd probably get very suspicious :neocat_nervous:
