@rodlie@mastodon.social @thunderbird@mastodon.online It's less of a Thunderbird issue and more of an Android issue. Android and email weren't designed with notifications outside Google's push notification system in mind. I think the blog describes it very well if you haven't fully read it.

@voxel@infosec.space As a user I don't care about the tech stuff, just do notifications. Other apps can do it. As a developer I'm sure I could make something that does notification just fine on Android.
