@finitebaffle@mas.to It's a weird and beautiful book with a bit of taboo-pushing stuff around romance... but *incredible* style and imagination, vaguely on the concept of "what if you could stick a feather in your mouth and enter a drug trance / lucid dream / VR experience / video game"
I'm probably due for a re-read, tbh!

@alexglow@chaos.social that sounds right up my street, deffo going to get on to that thank you. My favourite book of all time is Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delany, so that tracks.
