A dancer at Queen Anne public house in Vauxhall Walk. London's most historic strippers' pub began providing adult entertainment in 1959 when landlord George Lever had a dancer perform on stage for an hour or so each Friday and Saturday night. It was run by Denise D'Courtenay as a popular pole dancing venue and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009, closed in 2010.
The photograph was taken by Enzo Peccinotti and is part of a collection documenting this specific establishment
