Curious that a culture known primarily for its use of clay tablets for writing, and not at all for its use of paper, would have a use for a paperweight. There may be a gap in my knowledge, or something.

@electropict@mastodon.scot @archaeohistories@ohai.social We may call it a paperweight nowadays, but they might have other stuff that could easily be blown away? It's not like they would call this 'paperweight' as well, would they? You're limiting your thinking by your language.
